CES: iPhone battery holster

Fans of Far Eastern electronic ephemera are in their element at CES, but there are a few gems hidden away among the endless stands of “Your logo here” USB flash drives and novelty iPod cases.

One great example is this clever iPhone battery pack from Grabit. This sturdy holster packs a 1050mAh lithium polymer battery under its rubbery plastic and is a simple solution for anyone who’s dissatisfied with their iPhone 3G’s battery life.

It can be used either as a belt holster or a desktop stand, or you can just remove the belt clip and leave the your iPhone permanently clipped in place – it doesn’t add much extra bulk.


We don’t know the price or UK availability yet, and Grabit doesn’t seem to have any web presence, but we hope to find out more details once CES wraps up – and hopefully get our hands on a review model.
