Dell Mini 10 lands at Tesco for £349

Dell Mini 10Dell may have been sparse on the pricing and spec details for its new Mini 10 netbook, but Tesco hasn't been. It's just popped the 10in spring chicken on its virtual shelves at Tesco.com for a tasty £349.

Normally that would be the wrong side of the £299 mark for us (a la the £349 Archos 10) but Dell's not been shy with the extras, including a multitouch trackpad and built-in GPS.

Up till now we didn't actually know how much RAM or hard disk space Dell would be slotting in alongside all the fun stuff. Now from the Tesco page we can see that it'll come with 1GB RAM and a health 160GB hard drive. The screen is also a standard WSVGA 1024×600, rather than Dell's optional "720p capable" display that will no doubt cost extra.

For some reason Tesco's also said it has a 1.3Ghz Z520 Atom, rather than the 1.6GHz Z530 Dell announced. Not sure what's going on there but for now we're guessing it's a Tesco typo.

It's available right now with 349 clubcard points, should you be interested. No sign of it yet on Dell.co.uk, so you'll have to wait if you want to go for a different shade or "Design Studio image" on the lid.
