Apple releases iPhone 2.2.1 update

Just a quickie this – synch your iPhone now and you’ll be offered an update to the 2.2.1 version of the operating system.

What does it contain? Well, 'bug fixes', of course but also a couple of vague promises of "improved stability" in Safari and the resolution of an issue affecting images saved in the iPhone’s Mail app apparently not displaying correctly in the Camera Roll (though we’ve not experienced this problem ourselves).

And that’s about it. Well, at least until we’ve downloaded and installed the 245MB update. If there’s anything else, we’ll report back presently.
