LG Arena lands with 3D cube UI

LG ArenaThe LG Arena is here - not to be confused with the LG Arena in Birmingham, mind. That Arena (aka the NEC) houses concerts from Lionel Richie and, er, Simply Red, plus international show jumping. This Arena (aka the KM900) houses a "fully loaded" line up of HSDPA, GPS, WiFi and DivX support - plus a new cube-like interface dubbed its "dynamic 3D S-Class" UI.

LG reckons it's groundbreaking but we'll have to reserve judgment on the spinning block design until we've actually had a play. For now, we will say it's looking pretty slick.

As well as the DivX support it gets "Dolby technology" - presumably the same Dolby Mobile that gives the LG Renoir a movie and music boost.

LG ARENA will feature audio and video technologies never before seen on a mobile phone. LG took great effort to ensure that its 2009 flagship delivers an exhilarating multimedia experience, including features aided by Dolby and DivX technologies. LG ARENA will also include enhanced internet connectivity with HSDPA 7.2 networks, Wi-Fi, A-GPS and far more. LG will announce more specifics about ARENA and its features a long with some surprises during a press conference at the Mobile World Congress.
