LG's Arena KM900 in action
LG has officially unveiled its Arena KM900 at Mobile World Congress.
Although you don't have to look far to find new handsets that have taken inspiration from the iPhone, some aspects of the Arena KM900 do look very similar. Whether Apple thinks it's a little too similar remains to be seen.
One eye-catching (and non-iPhone) feature of the Arena KM900 is the funky 3D menu navigation cube. We'll have to wait until we get our hands on one before deciding whether this is a gimmick or a genuinely useful tool, but in the meantime take a look at the video below from our sister site Know Your Mobile. More details on the Arena KM900 after the cut.
The video shows that LG seems to have done a decent job in making the interface smooth and responsive, and there's not a single Samsung touchscreen nightmare in sight.
Other features on the Arena KM900 include a 5-megapixel camera, WiFi, HSDPA, GPS. And as well as an FM radio, it also packs an FM transmitter, which means you can use it to blast out tunes on your car radio.
Sure, it's not identical to the iPhone, but we'd be surprised if Apple let this one slip by without a fuss.
