Make your own iPhone Dock from cardboard

by Julian Prokaza on Wednesday 16 September 2009 Comment

The photo pretty much says it all for this product — it’s a DIY iPhone / iPod Touch stand made from folded cardboard. Feed the USB sync lead through the slot and it turns into a dock, saving you £35 over Apple’s offering.

This isn’t the first DIY dock we’ve seen, but it the cleverest and by far the best-looking. Better still, it’s completely free, although you will have to get busy with a craft knife after printing the downloadable PDF onto some thin card stock.

Don’t be deterred by the rest of the site being in French — the instructions for the DIY dock are in English and there are two versions, one for A4 paper and one for US letter
