Spotify Mobile now available for Symbian S60 smartphones

Spotify for iPhone and Android has been available for some time, but now Symbian S60 smartphone users can take advantage of the streaming music service too.
As before, you’ll need to sign up for Spotify Premium to make use of the app (£10 a month) and in return you’ll be able to stream music over Edge, 3G and Wi-Fi, and cache playlists locally for offline play — up to 3,333 tracks on three different devices (desktop and mobile). So, you don’t need a constant data connection to make use of Spotify Mobile, but you will have to sign into the service every 30 days to remind it of your existence.
Spotify Mobile syncs with the desktop app automatically, so you can create playlists at home and have them appear instantly on your smartphone. If you’re new to Spotify, we’d suggest trying out the free ad-supported desktop app first, but it recently reverted to invitation-only and so you’ll need a friendly Premium subscriber to get you onto the service.
