Eclipse Internet increases its broadband data limits for all

Internet service provider Eclipse Internet has announced it's loosened the belt on data restrictions for both its business and home broadband products, doubling the usage limits for all of its packages.

Looking at the business options, the provider's Home Office package usage limit has now been increased to 10GB per month, its Business Bronze deal now boasts a 50GB data limit and Business Silver has been increased to 100GB. Meanwhile, there's no change for the Business Gold option as this remains unlimited.

Eclipse Internet's Home Package improvements see "Home Select" (its package specifically designed for everyday use) increase considerably from 10GB to 50GB. Additionally, its Home Pro package, aimed at serious gamers and film enthusiasts, has jumped from 50GB to 100GB.

Speaking on the changes, Clodagh Murphy, director of Eclipse Internet, commented: "We've increased the limits of these packages in response to changes in the online behaviour of our customers, who predominantly run small businesses either from offices or from home. All our teams, from customer service to marketing to technical support are based on a single site making it much easier for us to respond quickly to the changing needs of our customers, be that higher usage, backup and hosting service or e-commerce."

Eclipse Internet gives its customers the chance to monitor their monthly usage limits using its own Traffic Controller available through the Eclipse website.

Last week, it managed to pick up the Best Customer Focus aware at the Best Business Awards 2010 for its efforts in customer service.

As well as being praised for its investment in customer relations it was applauded for its option of a rolling one-month contract, consistent high speed connections across all of its packages, free phone calls and "high levels of security".
