On installation the Virgin Installer left the Netgear router in the box and said I had to attach it and left!
After going through what it says I have the problem that as soon as I unplug the internet cable from the laptop the connection is lost.
It won't connect wireless!
I have spent an hour on the phone to Netgear speaking to 3 different engineers. 2 of which could just about speak English.
The third refused to put me through to his manager or someone who had better English skills. Finally he said he wasn't supposed to help!
I just want some support to help me get connected through wireless, otherwise its just not worth it.
As soon as I pull out the cable from the laptop and try to open a browser it won't go through to the net.
It trys to repair itself and then says the modem or router is not connected.
I am sick to death of this already. A bloody waste of time and had nothing but a crap service allround apart from the install engineer turning up on time.
Can you sort this out and get me wirelessly connected?
