Hmmm, how on Earth did 3 manage that then. "more than 2,000 customers", not exactly a large survey was it. My personal experiences with 3 are not good in any way, shape or form. Customer services are terrible, there usual response to me was along the lines of, "We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing problems, but it can't possibly be anything wrong with our network, it's a problem with your PC.". In that case, every single PC, laptop, notebook, I have tried it on has the same "problem". And as for the network being improved/upgraded, where ?. Certainly nowhere I've tried it or anywhere friends of mine have tried. This company is a joke I'm affraid, they can spend many, many thousands of pounds on TV advertising boasting how fantastic they are, in an effort to lure even more users onto a network that can't cope with the existing customer base. But then I remember, shareholders greed far outweighs customers needs, so get as many customers as possible onto an already overcrowded network and count the cash as it rolls in.
Survey claims that 3 Mobile is the UK's best mobile broadband provider
A new survey by YouGov has revealed that the UK's biggest 3G network is also the best for mobile broadband, according to feedback from customers up and down the country.
In a poll of mobile broadband users, 3 Mobile outperformed a host of their rivals, coming top in ten of the twelve criteria. The 3 Mobile network has seen large-scale investment in recent years, which has pushed it to become the country’s biggest 3G network.
Coverage by the 3 Mobile network now stretches to reach 95% of the population in terms of 3G services. The provider has also been investing in speeding up their services as well as making it more resiliant, particularly due to the higher number of users now subscribing to it.
Customers also rated 3 Mobile number one for reliability, billing and the overall service and ease of use provided by the operator. When it came to offering value for money and decent customer service the network provider also proved highly popular.
The YouGov survey polled more than 2,000 customers of the likes of 3 Mobile, Vodafone, Orange, O2 and T-Mobile as well as some of the smaller profile providers. The 3 Mobile network currently enjoys the largest chunk of the mobile broadband market with around a 35% share. It launched its high-speed mobile data services back in September of 2007.
Three’s Director of Mobile Broadband, Joe Parker, said: “It’s great that our customers have rated us the Number One Mobile Broadband provider in the UK."
“It is a customer endorsement of the massive investment we have been put into our network over the past two years and the speed at which this programme is developing. The network continues to grow in reach, speed and capacity."
“It also shows that what customers value most when it comes to mobile broadband are reliability, speed, coverage, ease of use and great pricing – areas where we excel in the latest YouGov survey.”

My experience & friends of mine is that 3 mobile broadband is finally getting the credit it deserves, & no I don't work for the company, I am a low-paid Care Worker & through its excellent value for money contracts, I can enjoy the internet, which I wouldn't have been able to afford otherwise.
