UK iPhone 4S price plans revealed

Today, four of our major mobile phone providers (Orange, T-Mobile, Three and Vodafone) announced their price plans for the Apple iPhone 4S, leaving O2 the only major player not to have revealed its pricing.

Below are a few handpicked deals from each of the providers which should give you an idea of how much the new device will cost:

Vodafone

The 16GB and 32GB versions are both available for free but require a hefty monthly subscription starting at £46 a month for the 16GB version and a whopping £62 a month for the 32GB version, both on a 24 month contract.

Vodafone are however the only provider thus far that have revealed 18 and even 12 month contracts for the iPhone 4S, but do expect to pay much more upfront for the luxury of a shorter contract.

One of the best deals available is £36/month for the 16GB version with an upfront cost of £159. For this you will get 600 minutes of talk time, unlimited texts and 500MB of data.

*Update- Vodafone have lowered the initial cost on quite a few of their 4S price plans, including the one mentioned above. You can now get up to £120 off the original prices and the £36/month deal above is now only £99 upfront, a saving of £60.

Orange

Orange are offering very similar ‘free’ deals to Vodafone with the 16GB contracts again starting at £46 a month, the 32GB starting at £61 a month and Orange are equally not offering the 64GB version for free. The cheapest you can get the 64GB version for is £99.99 upfront with a £61/month contract.

For £36/month with Orange you will get the 16GB version for £99.99 upfront and this will include 600 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB of data. Alternatively with Orange you can drop the minutes down from 600 to 300 a month and gain an extra 500MB of data.

T-Mobile

The iPhone 4S deals from T-Mobile are very similarly priced to those offered by Orange. For £35.75 a month you can get the 16GB version for an upfront cost of £99.99 which includes 600 minutes, 500 texts, 500MB of data and one free ‘flexible booster’ which includes among other thing unlimited texts, Euro talk and text booster and USA /Canada Talk booster, which could be a great perk if you have friends/family abroad!

Three Mobile

As expected, Three have gone in slightly cheaper than the competition with the 16GB version of the device being available with no upfront cost for £43 a month on a 24 month contract.

One of the top deals Three are offering is the 16GB version at £35/month for a nominal £49 upfront which includes 500 minutes, 5000 texts and 1GB of data.

Three's pricing of the higher spec devices (32 and 64GB models) is also very competitive with a 64GB model on a £35 a month plan costing £229 upfront.
