Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 video preview launched

With just a few weeks to go until its highly anticipated release on the Xbox 360, those nice people over at Activision have released a new teaser trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

Set for release on November 8, CoD: MW3 is the latest in the line of hugely popular Call of Duty first person shooters, being the direct follow up to Modern Warfare 2 - a game that made a cool $1 billion in sales.

So what can you expect from the new one? Well, more of the same of course - let's start with a mission-based single player game as well as multi-player online play (including two-player co-op mode), a host of new skills and perks as well as new 'kill streak' categories.

Let's face it - you're going to buy it anyway - it wouldn't matter if we said you were in a pink bunny suit going around kissing all the boys!

For the true die hard fans, there is of course the special limited 'Hardened Edition'. Coming in a swanky metal case, this will entitle you to a year of Elite premium membership (getting you access to special downloadable content such as maps and missions) as well as unique weapons, events and boosts. There's also a 100-page journal rammed with sketches, diagrams and written entries.

But more importantly, as ever, the real clinchers are the amazing graphics and deep storyline (yes yes, and the guns, explosions etc). To get more of a feel for what to expect, check out the video below. Enjoy!
