Our mobile broadband is so painfully slow. Any update or help is gratefully appreciated.
3000 BT hotspots now accessible to O2 customers
With updates to the Connection Manager software and access to BT Openzone hotspots, the O2 mobile broadband offering got better this week.
Providing access to BTs Openzone Wi-Fi hotspots means that O2 mobile broadband customers can now access BTs 3,000 hotspots in addition to the 7,500 already accessible from O2 and partner The Cloud. The new hotspots include areas such as conference centres, motorway service stations and airport loungesfor the business traveller; as well as coffee houses, hotels and restaurants.

The additional hotspots were already accessible to anyone using the internet bolt-on from O2 - iPhone users, in many cases - but now the deal has been opened up to all mobile broadband users, making it that bit easier to get online anywhere.
O2 also announced an update to its Connection Manager software this week, including a data counter to help users to keep track of their mobile broadband usage. The counter can notify users when they've used 75, 90 or 100 per cent of their usage allowance. The updated software will be available to existing customers immediately, while new customers will have to wait til the end of July.
