Internet service provider BE Broadband announced today it would be partnering up with IT support company Geeks-on-Wheels in order to provide both its home and small business customers with back-up computer aid should things go awry.
Suitable for troubleshooting most common computer problems, Geeks-on-Wheels specialise in anything from clearing PCs of viruses or spyware to data recovery for hard disk crashes and hardware and software configuration.
There's a fixed rate for customers calling out Geeks-on-Wheels to their home, although BE members look set to receive a 15 per cent reduction in price. For London customers an hour long consultation costs £63.75 for the first hour and then £31.88 for every thirty minutes thereafter. Meanwhile, Sussex, Surrey and Kent Home rates are prices at £55.25 for the first hour and then £25.50 per thirty minutes thereafter.
Speaking on the collaboration with BE Broadband, Jamie Shaw, Managing Director of Geeks-on-Wheels, commented: “This is the perfect partnership for Geeks-on-Wheels. BE Broadband are widely recognised within the IT community as providing the best broadband services out there in a very competive market. With Geeks-on-Wheels now providing on-site-support to BE customers, the service really is second to none.”
To mark the start of this service BE is offering new Geeks-on-Wheels' customers two months free broadband and no connection fee on all 12-month contracts. Until the end of October, new customers will be able to take advantage of this promotion by entering the code 'GEEKS' on BE's sign up page.
