BE offers 35% discount on Livedrive online storage

BE Broadband has joined with web storage and file access company Livedrive to offer its broadband customers a 35% discount on Livedrive services. 
 
Livedrive allows users to share their files between all their computers and to access their files online anywhere. The service also allows users unlimited file storage on its secure online servers. 
 
To take advantage of the offer, BE broadband customers should log in to the BE member centre and follow the link to sign up to the offer. They need to enter the promotional code ‘LIVEBE’ to get their member discount. Users can also get a month’s free trial without having to give their payment details.
 
When they’ve signed up, users store their files online by dragging and dropping them in a special virtual drive on their PC. There they can be accessed through a web browser using a unique and secure personal web address. 
 
Using built-in web applications, users can view files, play music, watch videos and edit photos and Microsoft Office documents, wherever they are – even from mobile devices. BE claims it’s also easy to securely add files to Facebook and Flickr, and there’s a back-up function that allows users to protect any folder on their PC with just one click.
 
Oli White, head of marketing at BE Broadband, said: “BE is always looking to form partnerships that will be beneficial to our customers and provide those extra services that enhance the online experience. Livedrive’s storage capabilities mean that they’ll be able to access all of the offline content they have and store it in the cloud. It’s these kind of services that break down the barriers between online and offline.”
