BT reaches out to customers with Broadband Life site

In an attempt to improve the way it communicates with its customers internet service provider and phone operator BT has launched a brand new site – Broadband Life.

According to The Telecom, the provider decided to take a more “lifestyle approach” strategy to its marketing, concentrating on helping customers understand how its products can enhance their lives.

On the Broadband Life site visitors are now given the opportunity to find out more about the benefits of using extra broadband features such as BT Yahoo! Mail or learn how to protect important files and photos with BT Digital Vault. For those new to BT Total Broadband there’s also a direct line to account essentials such as itemised billing, broadband upgrade information and current broadband offers.

Speaking on the launch, Sam Calvert, head of online acquisition and retention for BT, commented: “Re-launching Broadband Life using a more emotional, home-based lifestyle approach is a huge step towards achieving our overall strategy on BT.com of providing a place where existing customers can understand, get help with and get more from their BT products.”

Broadband Life is available to view at www.bt.com/broadbandlife
