ISPA raises Industry Standards at Nominet Best Practice Challenge awards

ISPA has been announced the winner of the Raising Industry Standards category at the Nominent Best Practice Challenge awards after being given recognition for its work to ensure the internet remains a secure, open, accessible and diverse experience for all.

In order to snap up the award ISPA (of which Broadband Genie is a member) was able to prove it had worked with members to ensure high standards through the mandatory Code of Practice and voluntary Best Practice documents. As well as being given the nod for tackling issues of concern to the public, judges made a special comment to the ISPA's part in improving trust and confidence in the internet.

Speaking on its success, ISPA secretary general, Nicholas Lansman, said: “ISP is delighted to win an award in Nominet's highly-regarded Best Practice Challenge. This award recognises the continued commitment of ISPA to ensuring that high standards are maintained across the Internet sector.”
