Time to grab a cheap laptop as O2 reduces mobile broadband prices

O2 has announced some revisions to its mobile broadband packages which might interest any new years bargain hunters.
Firstly, for this weekend only, grab a complete bargain with a half price pay-as-you-go package, which gets you started with mobile broadband for just £10. Get online with O2s attractive E160 dongle, available in white or pink, which not only gives you access to O2's network at speeds of up to 3.6Mb, but also unlimited access to over 6,000 Wi-Fi hotspots. The dongle can be topped up as required, costing just £2 for a day's usage (500MB), £7.50 for a week's access (1GB) or £15 for a month's worth (3GB).
Or if pay-as-you-go is not your cup of tea, O2 has also reduced the price of its laptop deals. The popular Samsung R519 laptop is now free on two of O2's contracts - where previously it carried a set-up fee of £50. The R519 is a full-sized laptop with an ultra-sharp 15.6" screen and built in stereo speakers, optimised for watching HD movies or playing games. Get it with 3GB per month of mobile broadband usage for £35, or with 10GB for £45.
Earlier this month O2 also removed the set-up fee for its other mobile broadband plus laptop package, which features the Asus 1005H netbook, for those who like their computers even more portable. The Asus is available with 10GB per month of mobile broadband for £35.
All of O2's deals are covered by its excellent 30 days happiness guarantee, which means that if within 30 days you're unhappy with your mobile broadband for any reason, you can return everything for a complete refund.
