iPod touch bundled with 3's MiFi deal

If you haven't already met the MiFi then now is the time for introductions - a wireless modem that allows you to share your mobile broadband connection with up to five devices, so that you can connect every gadget you own or let your friends connect theirs too.
The device launched in September this year, and it's been available on 3 for a while now, priced at £12 per month for 1GB or £17 per month for 5GB; with both these deals currently offering the modem itself free if you order online.
Now, however, the MiFi has been combined with the popular iPod Touch mp3 player in a bundle which is aimed squarely at the pre-Christmas present buying market. The deal will set you back £23 per month for 5GB of data on a 24-month contract; which 3 reckons gets you 72 hours of browsing, 800 songs and 400 applications. The 8GB iPod touch will store 1,750 songs, 10,000 photos or 10 hours of video, and can of course be connected to your mobile broadband via the MiFi.
Charlotte Blanchard, Director of Products and Services at 3 commented, "The iPod touch offers a really great browsing experience, but as with so many devices with WiFi capabilities, the internet function rarely gets used because hotspots are so hard to come by. Now with MiFi on 3, iPod touch users can get wireless internet whenever they want on the network that's designed and built for the mobile internet. We've responded to feedback from our customers to bring this bundle into our range, and at £23 a month it's the perfect treat for Christmas."
