MacBook Air discount for 3 mobile broadband customers

PC World has announced a new deal for all customers interested in bagging themselves a MacBook Air. By signing up to the 18-month 3 mobile broadband tariff in-store customers can get themselves a £250 off of the price of the latest Apple laptop, taking the price down from £1199 to £949.

Due to the ultra slim body of the MacBook Air most USB stick dongles can't be plugged into the new Apple laptop. However, as the 3 dongle connects via a smaller cable it's fully compatible. If you're thinking about popping along to your local PC World to sign up for the deal it's worth noting that you'd need two forms of identification in order to sign up to Mobile Broadband. Currently, it's only possible to pre-order the MacBook Air but it has an estimated release date of 11th February 2008.
