Virgin Media sounds great for business backup. For my personal computers, I've been using SafeCopy.com. In particular I was able to backup USB drives, share files and backup both my Mac and PC with one account. I'm very happy with it and it may be worth checking out.
Virgin Media gives its home broadband customers online storage and free photo printing
Virgin Media has just vamped up its home broadband packages with the launch of a new service – V Stuff.
Giving customers the ability to store and share photos online, Virgin Media home broadband subscribers are also being given chance to snap up free photo prints for up to one year (within a monthly allowance) as well a being offered a new service for backing up and remotely accessing important documents.
Users logging on to their My Virgin Media page will notice there is now a new customer control centre through which they can make use of the V Stuff’s new online service. Here, subscribers will be able to upload photos to the online storage area and get creative with their own online album feature, free to share to family and friends.
With the V Stuff account set-up important new documents and changes to existing documents and folders will be backed up online. Using a web-based interface it’s also possible to remotely access these files through any other computer.
The capacity for backup/storage and the amount of inclusive photo prints varies according to the home broadband package the customer is signed up to. Obviously, higher cost subscription packages get more online storage space and photos thrown into the mix. Here’s how the allocation is split up:

Virgin Media has also taken the time to compare and contrast their new online service feature with their competitors:

Speaking on the V Stuff offering, Jon James, director of broadband at Virgin Media said: “Despite being the UK’s fastest broadband provider, we know the internet is not just about speed. With the ability to store and share an unlimited number of photos and files online, and the unique facility to choose and print hundreds of photos for free, we’re going way before our customers’ expectations. Our great new V Stuff service is the perfect broadband companion to enrich our customers’ lives.”
It’s also worth nothing all Virgin Media home broadband customers are being given the opportunity to upgrade to Unlimited storage and up to 100 monthly photo prints for an extra £5 per month if they’re not signed up to the XXL (50Mb) package.
