The nice people at Vodafone are giving away free music downloads all day this Friday (25th).

Vodafone UK customers will be able to download up to ten free tracks on Friday 25th September, including exclusive tracks and remixes from top artists. The tracks are all DRM free, so you'll be able to share them across your mp3 player, your laptop and your phone - and anything else you use to play or store music.

With over 1.6 million tracks to chose from, there should be something for everyone, whether you're into the Veronicas and the Saturdays, Sean Paul, Pearl Jam or Madonna. There's even an exclusive David Guetta track and a Chipmunk remix, available only to Vodafone UK customers.

'Free Music Friday' coincides with the arrival of the new-look Vodafone  music store, and the launch of 10 mp3 tracks for a fiver. It also ties in neatly with Vodafone's RealTimeTop40 Chart experiment, which ask Twitter users to tweet the artist and title they're currently listening to, in order to gain a picture of the 'real time' top 40 in the UK.
