Using the popular Android 2.1 OS, the Motorola Milestone XT720 is a touchscreen smartphone that majors in video recording - it's capable of 720p HD recording and playback, with a HDMI cable included for top quality transfer.
Connectivity is well covered with 3G HSPA, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, while there's GPS for sat nav too. The screen is big at 3.7 inches, perfect for multimedia (as is the 3.5mm headphone jack), but the camera truly shines out - eight megapixels with Xenon flash, plus face detection, multi-shot and more.
Email support is good, with push Exchange and Gmail, IMAP and POP3. As its Android, you'll also be able to access the Android App Store, which is fast catching Apple in the app stakes. And there's plenty of room for them all, with an 8GM microSD card supplied and 32GB cards supported.
