The LG Optimus Net is the manufacturer’s latest budget Android smartphone. It has a relatively small 3.2-inch TFT touchscreen, perfect for smaller hands, and ticks along nicely thanks to its 800MHz processor.
As a good introductory smartphone you shouldn’t expect too much from the specs. There’s very little on-board storage, but the microSD card slot means you can bolster that up to 32GB. And while the 3.15-megapixel camera doesn’t have a flash, it does have autofocus and VGA video capabilities.
The LG Optimus Net has the latest version of Android on board too (2.3 Gingerbread), while you can get online with ease (Wi-Fi and HSPA), while there’s Bluetooth and GPRS too. So with all those apps available too, this really is a bargain budget smartphone.
