Home broadband deals in Bath
The availability of fixed-line unlimited broadband in Bath depends on your exact location. This is more so the case than in other areas of the UK due to the comparatively small number of exchanges and the mix of services on offer at each.
The central Bath exchange is bang up to date with full fibre deals available on the Openreach and CityFibre networks.
Outside the city, the options drop off slightly. In Combe Down or Odd Down, for example, if you want access to Ultrafast broadband, you'll need to rely on Virgin Media's cable service. You won't be able to sign up to a full fibre deal on the Openreach network.

What is Openreach?
Openreach is the company that maintains the former British Telecom Network used for the majority of broadband and phone services. If a repair or installation is required, it’s Openreach who will send an engineer, not your provider.
More than 650 service providers using the Openreach network. That’s the majority of the UK’s broadband providers. This includes Sky, TalkTalk and BT. The exception to this is Virgin Media - it uses its own, separate cable network.

Comparing mobile broadband in Bath
Mobile broadband coverage in and around Bath is reasonably good on all four network providers. 3G services are available throughout the city and surrounding locations on EE, Three, O2, and Vodafone.
Superfast 4G mobile broadband is also available in and around Bath, as is the latest 5G, including areas along the A4 connecting to Bristol (EE will give you the best coverage here).
One thing to keep in mind is that coverage for all networks does get a little patchy to the south of Bath. The geography of the area means you’ll likely run into spots where there's no signal.
